World Tree is raising funds on Wefunder. The company is leading the Eco-Tree Action designed to reverse climate change and make significant impacts on investors and small farmers. The project provides accessible investment opportunities in sustainable timber. World Tree has raised $8.7 million to date and funded more than 300 tree farms. Doug Willmore founded World Tree in June 2015. The current crowdfunding campaign has a minimum target of $250,000 and a maximum target of $1,500,000. The campaign proceeds will be used for farmer success, management fees, trees and shipping, brokering the lumber, marketing, and carbon program costs.
